Zinzinnati Beer Cheese Spread

Flavors explode with this very simple, delicious recipe.  The secret(s); Cottage Ham, Sam Adam’s beer, and an unexpected addition…horseradish.

Ingredients

—6 OZ Queen City Sausage—Smoked Cottage Ham.  Sliced thin and chopped

—4 OZ Cream cheese.  Softened

—16 OZ Extra-sharp cheddar cheese.  Shredded

—1/2 Cup Onion.  Chopped

—2 TSP Dijon mustard

—1 TBLS Worcestershire sauce

—2 TSP Dijon mustard

—1/2 Cup Sam Adam’s dark beer.  Room temp

—1/4 TSP Cayenne pepper

—1/4 Cup Butter, unsalted

—2 TBLS Horseradish (Jar)

Directions

1. Food processors are a suggestion, but this recipe was hand mixed

2. Add the cheddar, butter, and cream cheese

3. Add Worchestershire, onion, Dijon, and cayenne

4. Add in the beer and horseradish

5. Add in the cottage ham.  Keep some extra cottage ham to serve with the crackers
