Qktoberfest Reubens Queen City Sausage Style

We are craft sausage makers okay?  So, to that end, of course our Reubens are made with sausages.  In fact, the Reuben just became elevated and celebrated with this approach.

Ingredients

—3 Links: Queen City Sausage Bratwurst

—3 Links: Queen City Sausage Smoked Sausage

—6 Buns

—6 OZ Baby Swiss cheese.  Sliced

—8 OZ Pastrami.  Sliced very thin

—8 OZ Sauerkraut

—Mustard

—Thousand Island dressing

Directions

  1. Grill: Grill as usual

  2. Broiler: Low setting.  Watch closely

  3. Place the cheese and pastrami on each bun.  Place buns under the low setting broiler, just enough to melt the cheese and lightly toast the buns

  4. Add the links, 1000 Island dressing and sauerkraut
