Fajita Topped Smoked Sausage

This topping is a celebration of flavors.  The combining of seasoning with onions and peppers plays nicely with the smoked sausage.  The result is visually stunning and delivers on delicious!

Ingredients

—1 Pack Queen City Sausage-Smoked Sausage

—5-6 Buns

—1 Each: Red, yellow, green bell peppers.  Sliced

—1 Onion.  Sliced

—2 TBLS Fajita seasoning

—1 TBLS Lime juice

—2 TBLS Olive oil

—1/2 TSP Smoked paprika

—1/2 TSP Chili powder

—Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Pan fry or grill the sausages

  2. In a separate bowl, add the onions, peppers, spices and olive oil

  3. Add the onions to the skillet to soften

  4. Add the sausages to the buns

  5. Top the sausages with the onions and peppers mixture
