Smoked Sausage Triple Grilled Cheese Sandwich

When smoke sausage meets cheese(s), gourmet hamburger buns, and a dash of onions, extreme delight follows!

Ingredients

—4 Links: Queen City Sausage, Smoked Sausage.  Cut in half lengthwise

—4 Everything buns

—8 TBLS Butter

—1/2 Cup Cream cheese.  Softened

—8 Slices Extra sharp cheddar cheese

—4 Slices Gouda cheese

—1 Medium onion.  Sliced thin

Directions

  1. Medium skillet, add butter and brown the sausage slices and onions

  2. Remove sausages and onions once browned

  3. Start assembling.  Add the cream cheese to the bottom buns.  Next add the Gouda, add the sausages, add the cheddar cheese, top with onions

  4. Place the bun lids on

  5. Back to the skillet.  Medium-low heat.  Add butter.  Place each sandwich in the skillet to brown both sides and serve

Yield: 4 Sandwiches
