When smoke sausage meets cheese(s), gourmet hamburger buns, and a dash of onions, extreme delight follows!
Ingredients
—4 Links: Queen City Sausage, Smoked Sausage. Cut in half lengthwise
—4 Everything buns
—8 TBLS Butter
—1/2 Cup Cream cheese. Softened
—8 Slices Extra sharp cheddar cheese
—4 Slices Gouda cheese
—1 Medium onion. Sliced thin
Directions
- Medium skillet, add butter and brown the sausage slices and onions 
- Remove sausages and onions once browned 
- Start assembling. Add the cream cheese to the bottom buns. Next add the Gouda, add the sausages, add the cheddar cheese, top with onions 
- Place the bun lids on 
- Back to the skillet. Medium-low heat. Add butter. Place each sandwich in the skillet to brown both sides and serve
