Sausage Tomato Tart with Puff Pastry

Super simple!  Very Tasty!

Ingredients

—5 OZ Queen City Sausage Cottage Ham.  Sliced thin

—1 Link Queen City Sausage Smoked Sausage

—1 Tomato.  Sliced and quartered

—1.5 Cups Cherry tomatoes.  Halved

—1 OZ Olive oil

—1 Sheet + 1 Section Puff Pastry.  Thawed

— 12 OZ Ricotta cheese

—Lemon zest

— Sea salt flakes

— Italian seasoning mix or thyme

—2 Cloves garlic.  Sliced

Directions

  1. Large sheet pan.  Parchment paper.  Add the puff pastry

  2. Score around The 4 sides of the puff pastry, about 1.5 inches.  Like a picture frame

  3. In a medium bowl, whisk the cheese and lemon zest together.  Blend well

  4. In a separate bowl, add the tomatoes, sausages, garlic, olive oil and spices

  5. Spoon on the cheese within the border of the puff pastry

  6. Beat the egg and brush on the egg to the outside border of the puff pastry

  7. Add the tomato mix on top of the ricotta cheese

  8. Dust with sea salt

  9. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. About 20 minutes
