Gruyère Smoked Sausage Pasta Toss

Surprisingly quick!  Super easy!  Delicious!

Ingredients

—1 PK Queen City Sausage Wicked Jalapeño Smoked Sausage

—1 PK Private Selection Trottole Pasta or favorite

—6 OZ Gruyère cheese

—6 OZ Shredded mozzarella cheese

—2 Cups Fresh baby spinach.  Chopped

—1 Cup Portabella mushrooms.  Sliced thin

—1 Red pepper.  Sliced

—1/2 Cups Fresh Fresh onion.  Sliced

— 5 Cloves garlic.  Sliced

—1/2 Cup Chicken stock

—2 TBLS Olive oil

—Salt and pepper

—1 TBLS Italian seasoning

Directions

  1. Follow package instructions and cook the pasta

  2. Large skillet, medium-low heat, add the olive oil.  Add the onions, peppers, mushrooms, seasoning and garlic

  3. Add the sausages to the skillet to brown.  Set skillet contents aside once browned and softened

  4. Add chicken stock, Gruyère cheese and the mozzarella on medium-low heat to melt throughly

  5. Add the pasta.  Blend throughly with the cheeses

  6. Add the set aside skillet sausages etc.

  7. Add the spinach and blend
