SMOKED SAUSAGE ITALIAN BREAD SALAD

Ingredients

—1 PK Queen City Sausage Beef Smoked Sausage.  Cut on the bias, 1”

—1 Loaf Italian bread.  Cut into 11/2” chunks.  Toasted

—12 OZ Salad greens, or head lettuce

—1 Cup Cherry tomatoes.  Sliced

—1 Cup Cucumbers.  Sliced and halved

—1 Cup Onions.  Sliced

—2 Cloves Garlic, minced

—1 Cup Fresh Basil, chopped (optional)

—1/4 Cup Olive oil

—2 TBLS Balsamic vinegar

Directions

  1. Use an oven safe sheet pan.  Coat with olive oil.  Place the bread chunks on the pan.  Drizzle the bread with olive oil.  Broil, low for about 6 minutes.  Watch closely to avoid burning

  2. Medium skillet, medium-low heat, brown the sausages in olive oil

  3. Combine all ingredients in a large serving bowl.  Drizzle the remaining oil and add the vinegar
