Bratwurst Basil
Pesto Ravioli

Who Knew that Bratwurst could be so versatile?


Ingredients

  • 1 PK 14 OZ Queen City Sausage Skinless Bratwurst.  Slice on the bias, ½ “

  • 19 OZ Sam’s Member Mark Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli, or favorite.  Heat and hydrate the ravioli in a bowl of hot water

  • 6 OZ Sam’s Member Mark Fresh Picked Basil Pesto, or favorite

  • 6 OZ BelGioioso Shaved Asiago, Parmesan, and Romano (Sam’s), or favorite

  • 3 OZ Prosciutto Ham (Optional)

  • ½ Yellow Onion.  Diced

  • 2 TBS Olive Oil

  • 1 TSP Coarse Ground Pepper

Instructions

1.      Medium skillet.  Medium heat.  Add olive oil to coat

2.      Add bratwurst slices and brown thoroughly, then turn heat down to low

3.      Add the diced onions and pepper

4.      Place ravioli in a bowl and add very hot water.  Cover and hydrate

5.      Add the basil pesto sauce to the skillet and mix in well

6.      Add the ravioli to the skillet and gently stir in

7.      Cover for 5 minutes.  Serve with cheese topping
