Halloween Party Sausage Spinach Dip

This is not the usual spinach dip.  This recipe combines complimentary ingredients and flavors in such a unique way.

Ingredients

—2 Links: Queen City Sausage - Smoked Sausage.  Diced

—16 OZ Sour cream

—1 Cup Mayonnaise

—1 LB Sourdough round loaf or similar

—6 OZ Frozen chopped spinach.  Drained

—1 Can 4 OZ Can Water chestnuts drained and chopped

—1 PK (1.8 OZ) Pk dry vegetable soup mix

Directions

1.  Mix together: Sausage, sour cream, mayo, spinach, water chestnuts, and soup mix

2.  Refrigerate for about 3 hours to firm and chill

3.  2.  Cut out the bread loaf, much the way you would carve a pumpkin.   We used a utility razor to precisely cut out the features

4.  Spoon in the mix and serve with additional grilled sausages, crackers, and bread pieces from the cut-out
