Ritz Cracker Deli Loaf Sandwiches

We are so proud of our old fashioned deli loaves.  Today’s recipe uses two of our favorites; Old Fashioned Leona, and Pickle Loaf.  Cincinnati’s historic Findlay Market is a great place to find these deli treasures.

Ingredients

—1/4 LBS Queen City Sausage Pickle Loaf.  Quarter slice to fit cracker

—3/4 LBS Queen City Sausage Old Fashioned Leona.  Quarter slice to fit cracker

—8 OZ Swiss cheese.  Cut into mini squares

—2 Sleeves of Ritz Original crackers

—5 TBLS Butter.  Melted

—1 TBLS Worcestershire sauce

—1 TSP Onion powder

—2 TSP Dijon mustard

—2 TBLS Brown sugar

—2 TBLS Every Thing But the Bagel seasoning

Directions

  1. Take a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper

  2. Melt the butter and add the Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, and Dijon mustard.  Stir well

  3. Lay out one whole sleeve of Ritz crackers, covering the pan

  4. Add the cheese to each cracker

  5. Add the pickle loaf slices

  6. Add the Leona slices

  7. Top with a lid of Ritz crackers and brush on the butter dressing and dust with the Everything seasoning

  8. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes
