Loaded Cheddar Hot Smoked Sausages

All of the toppings work seamlessly and allow the delicious flavor of the sausage to stand out.

Ingredients

—6 Links: Queen City Sausage—Hot Smoked Sausage or favorite QCS sausage

—6 Private Selection Everything Buns or favorite

—10 OZ Mushrooms.  Sliced

—1 Sweet onion.  Sliced

—2 TBLS Butter

—2 TBLS Olive oil

—4 Garlic cloves.  Minced

—1 TBLS Honey

—6 OZ Sharp white cheddar cheese

—6 Slices of bacon. Cut into 1/2” pieces

—Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. 2 Skillets.  Medium-low heat.  Butter and olive oil to both skillets.  Add onions and salt to one skillet. Mushrooms to the other.  Let onions caramelize.  Mushrooms soften.  Add garlic.  Add honey

  2. Heat the sausages.  Grill—Broil—Skillet

  3. Place heated sausages in the buns.  Add cheese.  Add mushrooms.  Add onions

  4. Top with bacon

  5. Finish with pepper
