Chipotle Style Sausage, Chicken, with Cilantro Lime Rice
We never cease to be amazed at how adaptable our sausages are to almost every dish. “Doesn’t wait to be invited, just shows up because it can and should,” captures the spirit of our crafted sausages. This recipe blends together flavors dramatically and is surprisingly easy to make.
Ingredients
—2 Links: Queen City Sausage-Wicked Smoked Sausage. Sliced
—1.5 Cups Rotisserie chicken or raw. If raw, focus on thigh meat and pre-cook
—1 Cup White rice. Washed. Drizzle with oil after cooking
—7 OZ Can: Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce. Lamoreno brand
—1 Lime
—Pinch of salt
—3/4 Cup of Cilantro leaves
Directions
Ideally marinate the chicken and sausages overnight in the adobo sauce
Large skillet, medium-low heat, add the chicken, sausages, and adobo sauce. Blend well and simmer for about 5 minutes
Cook the rice according to package instructions
Place the rice on the plates and top with the pan ingredients and serve immediately
Top with the cilantro leaves
