GRILLED CHEESE SMOKED SAUSAGE FUN

Ingredients

·         4 Links Queen City Sausage – Smoked Sausage or favorite variety

·         8 Hot dog buns

·         8 OZ Shredded sharp cheddar cheese

·         4 OZ Sliced mild banana peppers

·         2 OZ  Mustard

·         3 OZ Olive oil

Directions

1.      Non-stick skillet, medium low heat, add 1 OZ olive oil.  Brown the sausages

2.      Once the sausages are browned, cut links in half lengthwise

3.      Take each bun, press down the centers to create space

4.      Add cheese to one side of the bun and peppers on the other side

5.      Insert the sausages into the buns center.  Close the buns and pinch the top of the buns to seal

6.      Add remaining olive oil to the skillet.  Med-low heat.  Add the sausage/buns, seam side down first

7.      Roll the buns to evenly brown in the skillet

8.      Dip in mustard to enjoy
