Goetta Breakfast Sliders—Pretzel Bun Edition

Ingredients

·         1 LB Queen City Sausage Goetta.  Cut roll into 9 slices

·         9 Hawaiian Pretzel Slider Buns

·         8 Large eggs, scrambled

·         4 TBS Butter

·         9 Slices cheddar cheese

·         ½ Cup Pure maple syrup for dipping

Directions

1.       Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2.       Medium—non-stick skillet, medium heat.  Add the goetta slices to brown thoroughly.  Set aside.

3.       Add butter to the skillet, medium-low heat.  Add the scrambled eggs, let eggs cook across the skillet to create an even layer.  Cut into 9 mini squares

4.       Cut the buns in ½ as a whole.  Keep all tops together as well as bottoms.  Place the bottoms in a baking pan, add scrambled eggs, goetta slices, top with cheese

5.       Place the tops on and place in the oven

6.       Bake for 15-20 minutes to melt cheese and warm sandwiches.  Slice into the 9 buns to separate.  Serve immediately
