Smoked Sausage and Seafood Paella

Ingredients
1 Pack—14 OZ Queen City Sausage Smoke Sausage-Skinless (Or any variety of QCS sausage). Slice on the bias, ¾”
16 OZ Frozen Mussels (We prefer flash frozen varieties for ease of use and freshness
15.5 OZ Can Diced Tomatoes
8 OZ Shrimp. Deveined and Pre-Cooked
1.5 Cups Wild Rice—Pre-Cooked
½ Cup White Rice
½ Onion, Diced
½ CupWater—Add More If Needed
1 TBS Black Pepper
2 TBS Olive Oil
2 TBS Butter
Yields 6 Servings


Instructions
Medium, non-stick skillet. Medium-low heat. Add olive oil and sliced sausages. Brown the sausages. Add onions, pepper and butter. Add diced tomatoes, water and white rice. Stir and cover for 5 minutes. Add wild rice. Mix in well. Add frozen shrimp and mussels. Both will gently thaw in the skillet. Cover. Turn up heat to medium for 3 minutes or so to be sure mussels are thoroughly cooked. Serve.
