Goetta Egg N The Nest French Toast

Ingredients
6 Slices of Queen City Goetta Roll
6 Extra Large Eggs
4 Slices of Thick Crusty French Bread
2 TBS Butter
Maple Syrup
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Serves 2-3

Instructions
Preheat non-stick skillet to medium.  Slice 6 pieces of Goetta, about 1” thick from a 1 Lb. Roll of QCS Goetta.  Brown Goetta about 3 minutes each side. Remove.  Beat 2 eggs.   Add butter to coat the warmed skillet.  Take the bread slices and pinch open a hole in the centers.  Dip into the beaten egg mixture.  Place bread in the skillet.  Crack remaining eggs into the open bread holes.  Turn the bread and eggs when one side is browned.  Serve with the prepared Goetta.  Smother with maple syrup.
