This loaded sausage treat is a big deal in the Carolina’s. We wondered what a Cincinnati variation would be like using mettwurst and local chili.
Ingredients
—6 Links Queen City Sausage Smoked Sausage
—6 Hot dog buns
—15 OZ Skyline Chili
—1/2 Diced onion
—Yellow mustard
Slaw Recipe
—2 Cups Hand grated green cabbage
—1 Carrot. Freshly grated
—1/2 Cup Diced onion
—1/4 Cup Relish or diced dill pickles
Slaw Dressing
—1/2 Cup Mayonaise
—2 TBLS Yogurt or buttermilk
—1 TSP Apple cider vinegar
—1 TSP Everything But the Bagel seasoning
—1/4 TSP Onion powder
—1/2 TSP Black pepper
—1/2 TSP Sugar
—1 TSP Salt
Directions
- Combine the grated cabbage, pickle, carrot in a bowl and set aside in refrigerator, covered 
- In a small bowl, add the mayonnaise, yogurt, vinegar, and seasonings. Mix this in with the cabbage bowl ingredients and blend well 
- Grill or broil the sausages. Assemble them on the buns. Add mustard, onions, and chili sauce. Top with coleslaw and serve
