- What is Goetta? Goetta is a German breakfast sausage made with pork, beef, steel-cut oats, onions, and spices.
- Goetta is unique to Cincinnati and NKY. Goetta is only made here and it is sacred! Goetta was brought to Cincinnati by German immigrants back in 1880’s. They came from Germany’s Hannover region.
- Our Goetta is made with the same cuts of pork and beef used in our finest sausages.
- Goetta is traditionally sliced into patties. Browned in a non-stick skillet. Served with eggs.
Grill Tip—Goetta Perfection!: Slice the Goetta roll into 1.5” slices. Place patties in a non-stick skillet. Medium heat. Cook thoroughly on one side, nice and crispy brown, flip, brown and serve. Goes great with eggs.
