Wicked Habanero Sausage & Chicken Vegetable Soup

This is our version of the perfect comfort food soup.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Pack—14 OZ Queen City Sausage Wicked Habanero Sausages (5 Links)—Sliced into ½” Pieces. Use any favorite Queen City sausage
  • 8 OZ Fresh Skinless Chicken, Sliced Into ½” Chunks
  • 8 OZ Portabella Mushrooms Sliced
  • 1 Cup Broccoli (Trimmed)
  • ¾ Cup Sliced Carrots
  • ½ Red Onion–Sliced
  • 4 OZ Butter
  • 1 TPS Salt
  • 1 TBL Ground Pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Medium Sauce Pan, fill 2/3 with water. Medium-Low heat
  2. Add the sliced carrots. Simmer for 7 minutes
  3. Add the sliced chicken. Simmer for 5 Minutes
  4. Add the mushrooms and onions
  5. Add the sausages
  6. Continue simmering for 10 minutes
  7. Add the butter and salt
  8. Add the broccoli 2 minutes before serving
