Shrimp N Cheesy Grits with Wicked Hot Sausage
INGREDIENTS
- 4 Links—Queen City Sausage Wicked Ghost Hot Smoked Sausage. Cubed
- 6 OZ Shrimp.
- 1 Cup of Weisenberger Yellow Grits, or Any Whole Grain/Long Grain Grits

- 1 ½ to 2 Cups Sharp Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 4 Cups of Water
- 3 Cloves of Fresh Garlic, Minced
- 2 Beaten Eggs
- 3 TBS Butter (Melted)
- 1/2 TSP Salt
- 3 TBS Green Onions Diced
DIRECTIONS
- Boil water, add grits, garlic and salt, stir, cover and simmer for 20 minutes (stirring occasionally so they do not stick to the pot) then remove from heat
- Add Beaten Eggs–(at Room Temperature or Add Some Hot Grits to Temper)
- Add Butter
- Add Cheese
- Combine Thoroughly and Pour into Greased Casserole Dish
- Bake at 350 Degrees for 45 Minutes to an Hour Uncovered (Until Top is Set and Slightly Browned)
- Sautee the Wicked Hot Sausage Cubes, Shrimp and Green Onions, in Lemon Butter. Add as the Topping
