Queen City Style Sausage Pizza

Pizza is one of those great foods with universal appeal.  This recipe encourages a slightly different take on pizza by adding brats and metts and creating a German Oktoberfest themed pizza.



  • ½ LB. Queen City Hot Metts (About 3 links)
  • ½ LB. Queen City Brats (About 3 Links)
  • 1 pre-baked 1 ½ ” large pizza shell
  • 4 ounces of spicy mustard or your favorite
  • ½ LB. Mozzarella cheese-divided
  • 8 OZ. sauerkraut-drained
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 red pepper


  • Slice the sausages into thin rounds. Place aside.
  • Sauté the onion. Place aside.
  • Dice the red pepper. Place aside.
  • Spread the mustard evenly on the pizza shell.
  • Apply an even, thin layer of mozzarella cheese.
  • Spread a light, even coating of sauerkraut on the pizza shell.
  • Add the sliced sausages evenly across the pizza surface.
  • Add the sauté onions.
  • Finish the top with a light coating of Mozzarella cheese.
  • Garnish with diced red pepper.
  • Follow the baking instructions on the pizza shell package.
