Mixed Salad Greens and Smoked Mettwurst

Want a quick, easy, and lite dish to serve that is economical, yet delivers great flavor?  This recipe is so simple and is sure to please everyone.



  • 14 OZ. PK. Queen City Smoked Mettwurst (Skinless)
  • 16 OZ. mixed greens
  • 8 Oz romaine lettuce
  • 6 OZ. favorite salad dressing
  • 1 OZ. olive oil
  • 4 OZ. grated parmesan cheese


  • Cut the Queen City Smoked Mettwurst at an angle (bias) into ½ inch slices. The sausages are fully cooked.
  • In a medium non-stick skillet, add the olive oil and sliced mettwurst. Sauté until golden brown.
  • Place lettuce and mixed greens in a large serving bowl, add the mettwurst. Mix in with the greens.
  • Add a light garnish of parmesan cheese to the salad. Serve with your favorite dressing! We recommend honey Dijon mustard.
