Gotta Getta Goetta Pizza

Goetta is Greater Cincinnati and NKY’s very own comfort food. Goetta takes pizza to the next level! So simple and delicious!

1 Cheese Pizza: Note: we took an 18” premium Trotta (Local Cincinnati Pizzeria) cheese pizza as our base and went from there. Frozen pizzas work as well.
1 LB. Queen City Sausage Goetta roll.
Options: Pizzas are as fun to customize as they are to eat. We kept this pizza simple with a Goetta focus but adding onions, peppers, mushrooms and more can seal the deal. Fried eggs are fun to top at the end or as sides.

In a medium skillet, medium heat, add crumbled Goetta and brown thoroughly. If the pizza is fresh from the pizzeria, just add the browned, crumbled Goetta to the top. If additional warming is desired, place the pizza in the oven broiler for a few minutes. If using frozen pizza, add the uncooked, Goetta crumbles to the pizza and follow the package instructions.
