Goetta Balls Appetizer
Goetta Balls Appetizer
Even we were amazed at how easy and delicious this recipe was!
INGREDIENTS
2 Each 1 LB Rolls of Queen City Sausage’ Premium Goetta
8 OZ of Canola Oil (Follow your deep fryer instructions for oil selection and amount)
5 OZ Plain Bread Crumbs
2 Eggs for egg wash (Beaten)
DIRECTIONS
Add oil to deep fryer and turn on to heat the oil. We used 375 degrees and fried 3-4 balls at a time.
Open both rolls of Goetta. Form into 1.5 Oz balls. About the size of ping pong balls.
Crack open the 2 eggs and whisk in a bowl.
Add the bread crumbs to a bowl.
Dip the Goetta balls in the egg wash.
Roll the egg washed balls in the bread crumbs.
Note: If you want extra crispy repeat steps 5 and 6
Dip into the deep fryer. Ours fried for about 6 minutes per set.
Yield: About 20.
