Fried Goetta – Mac and Cheese Balls

INGREDIENTS

• 1 Lb. Roll Queen City Sausage’ Goetta
• 14 OZ Box Kraft Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese
• 1 Medium Red Onion
• 5 Cups Vegetable Oil
• 3 Large Eggs
• 8 OZ Panko Bread Crumbs

DIRECTIONS

1. Cook Mac and Cheese. Brown Goetta and crumble.
2. Add crumbled Goetta to cooked Mac N Cheese. Add diced onions. Thicken with corn starch or flour if needed.
   Blend ingredients together. Refrigerate mixture until firm. 3-4 hours.
3. Heat vegetable oil to 375 degrees.
4. Form chilled Mac & Cheese + Goetta mixture into 1.75” balls.
5. Scramble eggs for egg-wash.
6. Dip chilled balls into egg wash.
7. Dredge balls in Panko crumbs. Press to coat.
8. Take the balls and dip in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy. About 3 minutes.
   Yield: About 20 Balls.
